Room Parent Information
 
Room parents serve as liaisons for their classrooms, facilitating the communication process between the teacher, the classroom’s parents, and the PTA.
 
Duties include:
  • Gather parent contact information into a class roster for classroom use
  • Forward class/school/PTA information to families as needed
  • Help organize class events, grade-level activities, and other school events (class parties, field trips, Halloween Bash, etc)
  • Collect class funds and coordinate gifts for teachers/staff (holidays, birthdays, Teacher Appreciation)
  • Assist the teacher in procuring class supplies by checking in with the teacher periodically to see if they need anything
  • Attend monthly Room Parent meetings
