My name is Anna, and I am excited to join Beckford Charter for Enriched Studies as the new Library Technician. I look forward to supporting our students, teachers, and families by making the library a welcoming space that encourages a love of reading and learning.

Keeping a library collection updated is essential to creating excitement and enthusiasm for reading among elementary students. Children are naturally drawn to books with fresh topics, vibrant illustrations, diverse characters, and stories that reflect their interests and experiences. When students discover new titles on the shelves, they are more likely to explore, borrow books, and develop positive reading habits. An up-to-date collection sends the message that reading is current, relevant, and enjoyable.

 

 

Fresh books don't just fill shelves, they create a buzz that brings students back to reading. Additionally, these new books will help students strengthen their reading comprehension, expand their vocabulary, and build the confidence needed to become lifelong readers.

 

Ms. Anna, our Librarian Technician at Beckford Charter will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by October 9.
