Assembly 2nd & 3rd - Standards of Behavior

What
Assembly 2nd & 3rd - Standards of Behavior
When
1/12/2026, 9:15 AM 10:00 AM

The goal of Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) is to promote good citizenship in our students through positive recognition of students when they are demonstrating the behavior we want to see.

We have scheduled an assembly to reinforce the importance of positive behavior so students can remember the expectations in the restroom, playground and lunch area. These extend into the
classroom and all other areas of the school. You
should take the opportunity to also review and reinforce your classroom expectations.

  • We are Respectful
  • We are Responsible
  • We are Safe We are Kind

The assembly will remind and establish clear expectations of behavior and rewards for those good behaviors. It will add to our commitment to student success in academics, socio-emotional and behavioral interactions.
  • We must define our clear definition of behavior expectations
  • Teach direct behavior expectation
  • Remind daily with a positive approach
  • Celebrate consistent acknowledgment
  • Redirect unexpected behavior
Before your scheduled assembly time please share with students that we have the PBIS in place. Explain that there are rules everywhere and emphasize this is how we show good citizenship in the community, and our school is our community-it is our home. We must show that we are respectful, we are responsible, we are safe, and kind to our community.
