Winter Academy
The Winter Academy (WA) website https://www.lausd.org/winteracademy has enrollment and program information.
If you choose to register your student(s), they will be automatically placed at a Winter Academy site as follows: (1) If a student's school of attendance is hosting Winter Academy, they will be automatically placed at their school of attendance, space permitting. (2) If your student's school is not hosting Winter Academy or if it is at capacity, your student will be placed at a Winter Academy Attendance Hub closest to their school of attendance. Registration information will be communicated individually to parents and guardians before December 16, 2024 via the email on file. You may also contact your student’s school of regular attendance for more information about their school assignment.
Register your student for the Winter Academy online beginning October 14, 2024 through our online enrollment portal. Online enrollment closes on November 29, 2024. Students will receive their confirmation letters during the week of December 9.
The Winter Academy is also accepting paper applications for student enrollment. Paper applications will be available November 18, 2024.
Please click on this link to download a copy. Print, fill out the form and drop it off at your school site by November 22 to ensure you are considered for transportation. Paper Applications are also available in the main office at your school.
